Chris Weir

Owner

Chris is a 22 year veteran of all aspects of the custom home building and real estate industries. Chris is a licensed North Carolina General Contractor and has earned the Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) and Certified Green Professional (CGP) Designations from the National Association of Home builders. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Administration from The University of Wisconsin. His technical expertise in home building is surpassed only by his passion for delivering the best value and experience to his customers.

Prior to starting Elm Street Builders, Chris managed Chris Weir Homes where he built homes in almost every municipality in the Triangle. By partnering with quality minded investors and builders, his home building and general contracting companies tripled in size. Before settling into the Triangle area in 2007, Chris was an executive level operator of home building companies in the Midwest and Mid Atlantic. His specialties include construction operations, purchasing, sales and customer service.
